- Cutting Hortensia bushes , they grow 1.5 m in summer
- Making and hanging stone weights for decorative apple tree to shape and curve its top branches
- Some raking, not much, since there still might be frosty nights
- Several spring flowers are in blossom – don’t know their English names so the list is in Finnish:- Lumikellot, krookukset (Crocus), skillat, sinivuokot & keväänkaihon kukat eteläisellä seinustalla







I had made the joke when staying at your place that what you call gardening, most North Americans would call forestry.
Since my home town of Gravenhurst is the first town north of Toronto on the the Canadian Shield, the rock landscape of Finland is identical to the terrain of Northern Ontario. It’s not considered a great farming area, but visitors really appreciate the clean lakes.
